PTFE gasket also known as Teflon gasket are made of synthetic fluoropolymer of tetrafluoroethylene consisting completely of carbon and fluorine. It is innately hydrophobic (repelling water and water-containing substances) and has one of the lowest coefficients of friction against any solid. PTFE gasket / PTFE envelope gasket are used for high-temperature and weather-resistant applications.
PTFE gasket have many kinds of application methods. It is widely used in petroleum, chemical, electric and steel industry. Applicable medium includes water, oil, acid solution, alkali solution and almost all chemical materials.
High corrosion resistance.
Stable physical characters.
