PTFE Skived Sheets

PTFE skived sheet made from molded PTFE plant by skiving, it has good dielectric, non-aging, anticorrosion, suitable for sealing and lubricating materials in many kinds of applications, as well as insulating materials used for different kinds of statuses. Such as a capacitor, insulation, cable insulation, electrical instrument insulation, etc.

Description

PTFE skived sheets are high-performance sealing and insulation materials manufactured from virgin or modified polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) resin through a precision skiving process—a technique in which a sintered PTFE block is continuously shaved into thin sheets of uniform thickness. This process produces exceptionally smooth surfaces and tight dimensional tolerances, making skived PTFE ideal for demanding industrial applications.

PTFE skived sheets exhibit outstanding chemical resistance, thermal stability, and non-stick properties, as well as low friction and excellent dielectric strength. These unique characteristics allow them to perform reliably across a broad temperature range (typically –200 °C to +260 °C), even in aggressive chemical or high-purity environments.

Thanks to their versatility, PTFE skived sheets are widely used for gaskets, seals, linings, diaphragms, and electrical insulation components, as well as sliding bearings and protective covers in chemical processing, semiconductor, food, and pharmaceutical industries.

Depending on requirements, skived PTFE sheets can be supplied in virgin, filled (with glass fiber, carbon, graphite, or bronze), or expanded forms to enhance mechanical strength, wear resistance, or dimensional stability.
